Barack Obama says: Our problems are rooted in past mistakes.

Barack Obama says: We can rebuild.

Barack Obama says: He has started a plan with a new approach. We must stop with the "anything goes" attitude. We must have a new spirit of responsibility. The cost of this plan will be considerable. The consequence of doing too little or nothing at all would be worse.

Barack Obama says: Only the government can fix our problems. We must start the flow of credit.

Barack Obama says: This plan must begin today. He is confident that this plan recognizes the paradox of these problems.

Barack Obama says: He will create millions of new jobs. Within 5 years all medical bills will be computerized. New training will be provided for teachers.

Barack Obama says: He will put people to work with jobs that cannot be outsourced.

Barack Obama says: He will invest in technology and research.

Barack Obama says: He will give 1,000 tax cut.

Barack Obama says: The Government will have to tighten their belts.

Barack Obama says: The people will be skeptical. His plan will invest in what works. It will not be about Republicans or Democrats.

Barack Obama says: No secrets. Every American will be able to hold the Government accountable for their decisions.

Barack Obama says: His goal is a long term plan for economic growth.

Barack Obama says: This must be a time where we put the need for the nation instead of their own interests.

Barack Obama says: His plan will reform a weak regulatory system.

Barack Obama says: It is time to set a new course for this economy. He urges Congress to act quickly.

Barack Obama says: It will not come easy or happen overnight. It may get worse before it gets better.

Barack Obama says: Hard work and responsibility should be rewarded. Calling all Americans to give good ideas and ask ourselves "What is good for my children to inherit?"

Barack Obama says: Years from now 2009 will mark a new and hopeful economy.
